Union Square is excited to sponsor and exhibit at this year’s Building Lasting Change 2015, organised by the Canadian Green Building Council. Union Square is specifically involved in the stream ‘Regenerative Design: The New Paradigm’. The CAGBC aims to lead and accelerate the transformation to high performing, healthy green buildings, homes and communities throughout Canada. To do this they are looking to change industry standards, develop best practices and guidelines and develop educational tools to support its members in implementing sustainable design and construction practices.
As the leading authority on information management for businesses operating in the built environment, Union Square’s collaborative approach to working promotes a paperless and ‘greener’ office. By storing all information centrally and giving the entire business access to this pool of data, the need to print and duplicate documents is reduced. With this platform in place, the common workplace in years to come truly can contribute to a green future.
The Building Lasting Change 2015 stream that Union Square is sponsoring will be displaying the most advanced approaches to regenerative and resilient design of buildings, neighbourhoods and cities in North America. The day will include talks from leading practitioners and researchers who will share their experiences and knowledge of real life projects.
